01 Personal Data & Communications
MK Apparel uses customer information solely to provide requested products and services, process orders, and communicate about those services. We do not sell customer data.
By providing your email address, you consent to receiving communications related to your order, services, and occasional updates. You may opt out at any time via unsubscribe links or by contacting [email protected].
We utilize third-party platforms for ordering, analytics, payments, and fulfillment (such as online store platforms and analytics tools). For a current list of partners, contact us directly.
02 Turnaround Time & Production Schedules
Standard turnaround is approximately 15 business days from final artwork approval and payment. Shipping transit time is not included.
Additional services (specialty inks, tag printing, finishing, etc.) may extend production time. Rush orders may be available for an additional fee:

MK Apparel is not responsible for delays caused by weather, power outages, supplier shortages, shipping carriers, or other events beyond our control. Customers are responsible for communicating any required "in-hands" dates at the time of order.
03 Payment Terms
- Payment in Full: Required before production begins.
- Net Terms: Available only to approved accounts. Net terms require payment via cash, check, money order, or bank transfer. Credit cards and PayPal are not accepted for net orders.
- Late Fees: Payments more than 5 days late may incur 1.5% interest per month (18% annually) plus a $30 late fee.
- Delivery Day Payment: Invoices unpaid on delivery may incur a $45 late fee and up to 14% monthly interest.
Accounts with past-due balances may be placed on hold. Returned checks incur a $30 fee. Future payments may require certified funds.
3A Appointments & In-Person Visits
MK Apparel operates by appointment for all in-person visits. An appointment is required for any in-person consultation, meeting, order discussion, product review, pickup, drop-off, or other visit to our location.
Appointments may be scheduled online through our online booking page.
04 Online Stores & Chargebacks
Online store orders may be processed through third-party store platforms. Store names may appear differently on bank statements.
Disputes or chargebacks may result in:
- A $30 dispute processing fee
- Order hold until dispute resolution
- Order cancellation if disputes are not resolved
If a dispute is resolved in MK Apparel's favor, the dispute fee may be waived. Chargebacks may delay or cancel production.
04A Team Store Design, Setup & Cancellation
MK Apparel provides complimentary design and online store setup for approved team, school, organization, and company stores. These services are normally provided at no separate charge because the associated design and setup costs are expected to be recovered through merchandise orders placed through the store.
Before an online store is built, artwork or a design concept will be provided to the customer for approval. Approval may be provided by email, text message, electronic approval, or another written method.
Customers are responsible for obtaining any necessary approval from their team, organization, administration, athletes, parents, or other decision-makers before approving artwork with MK Apparel.
Once artwork has been approved and MK Apparel has begun building or configuring the online store, the design and setup work is considered authorized by the customer.
If a customer cancels, abandons, or elects not to launch a team store after:
- The store artwork or design has been approved by the customer; and
- MK Apparel has begun or completed setup of the online store
A $150 Team Store Cancellation & Setup Fee will be charged.
This fee compensates MK Apparel for work already performed, which may include:
- Artwork and design preparation
- Product selection and configuration
- Pricing setup
- Online store creation and configuration
- Product mockups and store graphics
- Testing and administrative setup
The cancellation fee applies regardless of whether the decision not to proceed is made by the person who originally approved the store, the team, athletes, parents, administration, organization, or another affiliated party.
A change in opinion regarding previously approved artwork, lack of team interest, changes in participation, or a decision not to proceed with the store does not waive the cancellation fee once store setup has begun.
No setup or cancellation fee will be charged when the store is launched and remains available for the agreed-upon sales period, regardless of the number or dollar amount of orders received, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
MK Apparel will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requested changes before a store launches. Significant changes to approved artwork, products, pricing, or store configuration may delay the store launch. If the customer chooses to cancel instead of proceeding after store setup has begun, the $150 cancellation fee will apply.
The cancellation fee will not apply if MK Apparel elects not to proceed with the store or is unable to provide the agreed-upon store services for reasons not caused by the customer.
By approving artwork and authorizing MK Apparel to proceed with an online store, the customer agrees to this Team Store Design, Setup & Cancellation Policy and MK Apparel's applicable Terms and Conditions.
05 Quantity Allowances (Under/Over Runs)
Custom production allows a ±5% variance in final quantities. Contract orders may be calculated by impressions rather than pieces. Customers are encouraged to order extra garments when exact quantities are critical.
06 Artwork, Design & Ownership
- Customer-supplied artwork remains the customer's property.
- Artwork created by MK Apparel remains our property unless ownership rights are purchased separately.
- Production files (separations, digitized stitch files, etc.) created for manufacturing remain the property of MK Apparel.
Artwork not supplied in print-ready format may incur preparation fees. Estimates are provided before work begins.
07 Artwork Approval & Proofing
All artwork must be approved digitally before production. One revision round is included unless otherwise stated. Additional revisions may incur fees.
Once artwork is approved, MK Apparel is not responsible for errors present in approved proofs. Changes may affect production timelines.
Colors may vary between screens and printed materials. Pantone matching is used where applicable but exact matches cannot be guaranteed.
08 Garments, Materials & Manufacturer Issues
- Garments are purchased per order and may become unavailable.
- Manufacturer defects (mislabeling, color variance, stitching issues) are not the responsibility of MK Apparel.
- Garment dissatisfaction after production is not grounds for refund.
Customer-supplied garments are accepted on a case-by-case basis and require a waiver. Refunds for defective decoration cover decoration only, not garment value.
09 Order Minimums & Setup Fees
- Screen Printing: Minimum of 6 garments per design (orders under 144 pieces may incur setup fees).
- Embroidery: Minimum of 1 piece (fees may apply).
All garments in an order use the same image size unless otherwise quoted.
10 Production Tolerances
- Placement variance up to ¾" is acceptable.
- Printing over seams, zippers, or collars may result in distortion.
- Exact ink color matching on reorders cannot be guaranteed.
Printed samples are not available.
11 Shipping, Fulfillment & Packaging
Orders ship via UPS or FedEx unless otherwise arranged. Shipping costs are not included in production timelines. Split shipping is available at current rates. Orders are bulk packaged unless otherwise requested.
12 Cancellations
Cancellations are subject to the following fees:

Cancellations are not accepted once production begins.
13 Guarantee
If production does not match approved artwork, MK Apparel will reprint within 10 business days. Refunds are not offered.
14 Marketing & Social Use
MK Apparel may photograph and share completed work for marketing purposes unless otherwise requested in writing before production.
15 Holidays (Non-Production Days)
Production does not occur on the following holidays:
- New Year's Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving & Black Friday
- Christmas Eve & Christmas Day
- Day after Christmas
- New Year's Eve
