Hat Styles

Every Style,
Your Brand.

We work with structured and unstructured caps, beanies, visors, and bucket hats from top suppliers like Port Authority, New Era, and Richardson. Embroidery is the standard decoration method for headwear — it handles the curved surface and structured construction better than any printing technique.

🧢
Structured Caps

Classic fitted and adjustable caps with a firm front panel. The most popular canvas for embroidered logos — front center, side panels, and back. Snapback, strapback, or fitted.

🎩
Unstructured Caps

Relaxed, low-profile caps with a softer feel. Works well for lifestyle brands and casual use. Note: embroidery size and detail is limited on unstructured panels.

🪖
Trucker / Mesh Back

Structured foam front with mesh back panels. Breathable and casual — popular for outdoor brands, events, and promotional use.

🫘
Beanies & Knit Hats

Embroidered knit beanies for winter kits and cold-weather uniforms. Simple logos with bold stitch lines work best on stretch knit — avoid fine detail.

🕶️
Visors

Open-crown visors for outdoor sports, golf, and active programs. Front panel embroidery on the same terms as a structured cap.

🪣
Bucket Hats

Popular for lifestyle brands, youth programs, and promotional items. Embroidery on the front panel or all-around. Great as part of a retail kit.

3D puff availableYes — best on structured front panels
3D Puff embroidery is very popular on structured caps — foam backing creates a raised, bold logo that stands out. Works best on block lettering and simple shapes. Ask us about it when you quote.

What makes a good hat logo:

Bold, simple shapes

Block letters, simple icons, and clean wordmarks translate best to embroidery on a curved surface.

Limited colors

3–5 thread colors is ideal. More is fine — embroidery pricing is based on stitch count, not color count.

⚠️
Avoid very fine detail

Thin lines, small text under 4mm, and gradients don't stitch well at hat-logo scale. We'll advise on your design.

⚠️
Match your cap style

Structured caps hold embroidery better than unstructured — for detailed logos, always prefer structured.
